This is the game jam version for the GameDev.tv. The theme was 'tiny world'.

We started with the idea of a tiny galaxy and 2 factions battling it out in space for a macaguffin. The next thought was 'since the galaxy is tiny, if they try to leave the galaxy, the ships bounce back?". Now we started thinking pro wrestling or a fighting game and then went from there.

Local couch multiplayer was the initial goal. Something 2 people could have fun playing for awhile. The bouncy arena adds a nice element of strategy. We started off with sci-fi sound effects, and then what started as a joke "wouldn't it be funny if we recorded the actual words 'pew' for the lasers" turned into several sound other sound effects such as "ugh" and "ow" being recorded.

There was enough time to add in a simple AI for single player that's probably a little over powered at the moment but it is beatable. 

Overall this was a lot of fun. This was my first game jam, and nonchalantpanda's first time working on a game at all.
